hello, I am from belgium, I have a MY2000 impreza with 218 bhp, unichipped, exhaust and others, normally my car goes to 1.25 kg boost on full acc. but now it goes for an unknown reason to 1.4, is it the cold or something else, because everything on the car is double checked and cleaned...

Well, do a search in previous posts and you wil find many interesting results, from a contaminated solenoid from too much oil, boost control problems etc.
Usually the OEM two port solenoid can't control as it would the boost especially if you turn it up a bit with this cold weather.
I use in my car a restrictor valve in combination with TEK3 from MrBanks, VF29 etc which gives me very good boost control and the opportunity to adjust it whenever I want, others have similar or better results with Dawes Device etc

What boost control do you have with the Unichip? If it's a manual valve then strip and clean everything...if it's still the same, turn boost down! 1.4 bar is too much if you're still on td04 and stock intercooler.

While the cold weather will give an increase in boost, .2bar seems too much.

If you have the Unichip boost controller it just puts out a fixed duty cycle by RPM. So there is no closed loop control = higher boost in cold weather.
