been having boost probs - oscallating bewteen 1.3 and 0.7 bar while accelarating.

was told to clean it which i did and still the same so i had a new boost soleniod fitted which nearly cured the problem but still does it slightly i.e boosts to 1.2 falls back to 0.9 then to 1.1 then holds at 1.0BAR is this to be expected? or have i still got a problem somewhere?

Oil in the restrictor pipework off the compressor outlet?

Check oil level not too high?

Decat causing overboost if it is a huge f*** off exhaust?

Hi peccy,

Check around your dump valve for leaks of pressure. This can cause the type of oscillation you mention especially if oil has built up in these pipes. Did this on both mine and Nick's cars of different occasions - both times dv to blame.

I'd take the Dv off and refit from scratch.

I know thw DV is a recent addition which is another reason why I mention this.

Cheers

Rich

when you clean the solenoid, remember to put some 12v dc on it to open the little piston inside and so blow the dirt out with carbu spray.... !!!
Also check all the hoses on the turbo and induction piping, and I mean all the hoses, also the little ones
