Does anyone know if there is any differance between the clutches of
STI version5's whether they be 4 door, Type-r or Type-ra????

Trying to sort out a new clutch so an answer to the above would be v.handy

Stupid as it may sound, I replaced the clutch in my R/A with a standard UK clutch.

I did this because I was doing a track day at Rockingham the next day which I didn't want to miss. I couldn't get a replacement AP paddle quickly enough. I didn't intend to leave this clutch in as I didn't expect it to last too long.

I have done six track days in it since, plus about 10,000 miles on the road.

We had the box out again the other day to sort a problem with the centre diff, so checked the clutch while it was out.

Surprisingly, hardly any wear at all!

Just wondered if the R(ace)A(ltered) one was rated to a higher bhp and torque level.
