Japanese Turbo Legacy engine STI internals

Someone is trying to sell my a Japanese Turbo Legacy engine and he clams that these engines (230hp)mechanically have the same internals as the STI versions It is a complete engine with IHI turbo unit, manifolds, all accessories but I don't see a red manifold on the engine
Can anyone give an answer on this?

Mostly they don't have the same internals.
If it's the older single turbo, they definitely don't.
As far as I know, the only ones that do, are the engines from the Twin Turbo V-Ltd
