Question

Hi all,

Give me some tips. I've got an MY99 non-turbo 2.0L Impreza wagon, and I want to know if I will be able (in future) to fit a WRX engine to it. If so, what year's will be a good fit?

Oh yeah, tell me if I'm barking up the wazoo too!

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to do it but unless you want to do it for the challenge/ satisfaction I think it would be better to trade it in for a turbo version. Resale of a non-turbo with a retro fitted turbo unit would be difficult plus you'd be missing stuff such as the seats, brakes etc. from the real thing.

Chris.

Thumbs up

I think you're right about that one...just that I've got a white wagon, and there's not many of those around in a version that has an 2L engine, w/ disc brakes (mine's only got brakes on the front). I'm really wanting to just style mine but keep the safety factor, without jumping to the STi or WRX cars.

Thanks for the help though!
