HI ALL RIGHT IM AT THE STAGE WHEN IM LOOKING AT WHAT ECU TO GO FOR OR TO JUST GET A MAP DONE AT POWER ENGINEERING.SPOKEN TO THE PEOPLE AT BRD AND THEY ARE COOL ..ONE THING IS THERE ID ALOT OF DIFFERENCE IN THE PRICES..ONE IS JUST OVER 700 AND THE OTHER IS 1430..THATS ALOT OF MONEY TO ME AND NOT SURE WHAT TO DO ...ALL COMMENTS PLEASE.THANKS MATT
You get what you pay for mate. An ECU is only as good as its mapper. If you've got a new car, why not get dr john banks to do it for you? If not, ask Dave for the older cars.
For where you are you're best speaking with BR Developments, as you already have done. Realistically, no-one knows more they they do (mapping and ECUs, including the choice of ECU), and they won't try to flog you something you don't need. If they think you're wasting your money, they'll tell you
