Can I use a bleed valve on my 94 wrx?

I've got a dawes and can't set it up to run 1bar and hold, for some reason it just hits 0.89bar@4,500rpm in 4th and at 5,000rpm it starts to climb, going up with the revs and hitting fuel cut.

I've used a bleed valve for years on my gti-r and it's been fine.

Want to sort it today as it's been annoying me for weeks now!
Cheers
James

I have found bleed valves to give very unstable boost levels on subarus. I wouldnt recommend using one.
