MY01 with PPP.

What is next best mod to up power? Am I right in thinking Cat free Downpipe?

What gains can I expect from this?

PPP is giving me (guessing) about 250hp on Optimax. My goal is to get to around 280 whilst retaining durability.

Cheers,
Mak.

Cool

Mak, on my old MY01 WRX PPP with full ScoobySport de-cat (up-pipe, down-pipe,centre and backbox), ITG panel filter, i was getting 285 bhp and 258 lb/ft on Power Engineerings RR. Never had any problems running with this spec. for over 6 months (then sold the car).

Full decat??
Mine has ITG panel filter and full Scoobysport decat including up-pipe and made 262bhp at Well Lane last week on normal unleaded. The car pulls like a train now in each gear!!
Ecutek is also worth considering as they remap your existing ECU (You'd need to sell the Prodrive ECU and exchange it for a standard one which shouldn't be too much of a problem though)
I'll post the link to a good thread on here re Ecutek when I find it!

Good luck

Nick
