Question

Hi,
I've connected a voltmeter on my WRX's stock EGT probe (the one in the uppipe) and I get the following values:
Cold engine idle = 4.7 volts
Warm engine idle = 4.6 volts
WOT ( @ 1.1 bar) = 2.3 volts minimum

I was wondering if anybody has a conversion table or any information that could help me to convert those electrical values into EGT ...
Didn't found anything on the i-club forum.

The stock probe is maybe limited but it's there so why don't use it ???? and it seems to be reacting quite fast when driving (less than 3 seconds from 4.0 to 2.3 volts when WOT)

Thanks for your help!

If you had a Select Monitor or Delta Dash, you could compare the voltage with a read out of the temp.

The readings on a SM can change very quickly.

I don't know who makes the probe but the response curve shows it's a NTC thermistor.
I do not have Deltadash ....
