Should be getting a new Blitz Nurspec R backbox anyday now, to replace the stock one on my MY00 Turbo. After speaking to a few peeps on here it seems this is a pretty easy job to do.
Anyone got any last minute tips or is it really as easy as undoing 4 bolts and doing them back up?

Let the car cool down and then loads of WD40 on the bolts. Leave for an hour and then try the bolts.
Was two bolts + three rubber hangers on my MY99 backbox.

Yes! dead easy, undo two bolts, remove three rubber hangers (on MY02). Line up new box, replace bolts only at this stage, rehang rubber hangers, 1 front, 2 rear, replace nuts and tighten. (15 / 20) mins

If you cant get the hangers into the rubber mountings put a wee bit of Copper Slip onto the hangers and then work the rubber mounting onto them, took me about 30 mins to change my centre & bb the other day, it will be 2 bolts / nuts and 3 rubber hangers to contend with....
You will need to put a new gasket on there tho, best ones imho are the copper ones.

Definately fit new gasket...£5 from my dealer.
Its worth loosening the bolts that connect the centre section to the downpipe while you fit the new b/b ...its a cone connection so it allows for any angular misalignment. When you have bolted up the backbox flange bolts and its mounted on its three rubber hangers you can then tighten up the cone connecting bolts.

Easiest way, do what I did, get the dealers to do it! Paid £15 and they did it during a service. That included new gasket, nuts, bolts and rubber hangers
That way it saves rolling around in the dirt and stripping flesh.
