Ive just been told that i might have a valve or 2 sticking, which is a better way to clean them, oil treatment or gas?

Boost Control Solenoid Valve, Purge Solenoid Valve or 1 of your 16 Valves

If it's one of the 1st two then use Brake Cleaning Fluid.

Who told you this and what were the symptons ?

Bad tappety sound from the n/s, also, the boost cut of valve is tapping, pretty sure it hasn't done that before.
