Whistling Turbo

Had my MY00 PPP from new and over the last 8 months i have noticed that the turbo spool up noise is getting louder.
I have compared it to another MY00 and you can hardly hear the turbo on that, which was how i remember mine !!,
The noise is best described as a deep whistle, which is only present when driving between 2k-3k rev
Performance does not seem to be affected.
Any advice would be of great help
or am i just being paranoid..........

I posted yesterday regarding a sort of whistling/whinning noise from my turbo. It never done this before which confused me as i thought that the turb is always audible when it starts to spin. The re-circ dump valve is also a bit louder.
The whistling/whinning is not so much rev based but more dependant on how much boost the trbo is giving. You should also make sure that its the turb whistling coz it shouldnt be rev-based ie i accelerated in mine very gradually and the whinning wasnt there, only when i was achieving 0.4 and onwards.
