Can anyone tell me how to locate the dump valve i have tracked the three tubes from the top of the chamber but cant find anything???

My car is a jap import and makes a noisy whoosh noise when i lift of the throttle But the noise seems to come from the hks induction filter, there is obviously a sucking sound from here but am confused to the location of the valve?????????

Thanks

ps my bonnets up lol..........

The dumpvalve is the black round unit with the red sticker just to the bottom right of the turbo heat shield

Yep that looks like a standard dump valve, my one looks exactly the same, it should not make any noise as it is a re-circulating valve.

It feels back into the inlet so perhaps you can hear the whoosh of air coming out of the cone

Your DV wont make much noise because it is a re-circulating one (the standard scoob DV)......It will only give off noise when your driving and on boost, not when you rev it at idle...

Check out mine which is a HKS SSQ dump valve and is a vent to atmophere...
