As promised
Lets see what we have to do…
Now where do they go……
Front bumper off and David working…
Engine of its mounting and lifted as high as it would go, so we could get the pain in the *** metal pipe in..
Top hoses in place so we could posistion metal pipe correctly..
This little bleeder, bolts to anti roll bar mounting, sits between exhaust manifold, wishbone and inner wing…
FMIC in position, so we can start marking where we have to cut undertray etc…
Davids mate cutting bumper, thanks very much…
Going back together, arch lining etc…
Dump valve in position…
Remains of bumper..
Finished job…..
Happy at the moment, no doubt David may throw in some PITA problems we had, and how often i said "**** it".

Watching and learning as Andy F and I are putting mine on on Monday. Same intercooler too 
Stealthy black is the right choice. Did you cover the intercooler with any mesh?

Does fit like a glove, which is why you to check all the time the the hoses are not chaffing.
John, in the box you get pictures and thats it. The metal piece that was a pain in the *** must be in its bracket tight, because if not it will rattle against the wishbone or something, i seemed to have cured that now though, tied a cable clip around the turbo out hose to my strut brace at the passenger side. This stops it knock and being as free to move.
It would be interesting to see how you get the K&N to fit, its tight with the HKS DD, had to move the alarm siren out the way as well.
No mesh in place yet though!
One good thing, was that when the bumper was cut, we did not have to cut my splitter, it managed to be pushed underneath the intercooler, therefore ensuring all the air goes into it.
After driving you could feel how warm the intercooler was on the right hand side, and how cold it was on the left.
Just need to play with the dump valve now.

Forgot to say we (david and adam) put the JW Racing quickshift on as well. Takes some getting used to, at the mo its a very short throw, may make it a bit longer.

I've got the APS induction kit as well. Collected some logs at idle, cruise, 0,5,10,15,20 PSI on the original airbox so I can see if it is possible to rescale the MAF sensor adequately. The K&N 57i does look too big to be honest.

John having seen the K & N on Chiarks car yesterday, no way would it fit in that area with the aps fmic and maf housing in place. I used the HKS DD one and it is sat under the blue pipe coming out the drivers wing.
Moles dad, power sorted..........not really, you know i sold the tek2, cause i am get a link ecu put on in october, thats after the hybrid vf22 turbo and 550 injectors of course

330 is conservative, more like 350 I should think.
injectors ordered, mr banks obviously doesn't want any.

P20, you obviously have a very 'understanding' wife...turbos injectors...fmic....etc
I have just managed to convince my wife that I HAVE to replace the brake pads !!!

Not bad to say I advised on how to fit a downpipe, fitted a fmic, and put a welder together...
Glad your happy... let me know if you need a hand with the turbo etc when it turns up..

So thats a tig welder amd a hippo in the car for Well Lane, i dont know
, the lengths some people go to to get extra grip on the rollers
The hardest thing about this FMIC was where to put the sodding number plate afterwards. After careful consideration over the weekend, and thanks to lots of masking tape, sticking in different places, i finally deciced at about 9pm last night, to mount it on the top part of the bumper above where the fmic is.

So I cant interest you all in a (patented) mole hinged front plate mechanism ???

Knowing my luck I would see that camera, gear down and bury the loud pedal only to find that the BUMBLE BEE had decided to commit 'Hari Kari' at the same time, thus causing a 'jam' situation in the potential horizontal workings of said mechanism
(Crazy car driver from Kent given 3penalty points, he claims it was the bee's fault)
