Ok, I hate the idea of cheap boost contollers and am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Having read many posts about these I decided I didn't want one but im slowly being swayed. I have just read the stuff on JW racing site and seems quite convincing.
I have a MY99 with ITG and Full Magnex system, running at 0.9 bar. Trouble is, is it feels a bit lifeless at the moment and I feel a couple of safe PSI might do it. I will eventaully go for a Tek2 when I find more money I have an AFR and boost guage so should be able to judge it safely. :
Question is - how far can I turn it without fuel cut? Which one do I want, normal or deluxe?
Thanks,
MB

Mark,
I have a "Race Spec" Dawes MBC for sale. Already trimmed and set up for MY99/00. Only used for a few weeks - went to Tek2 ;-) Mail me offline if you're interested.

I've got a standard dawes on MY99 tuned to give 17ish psi in fifth gear, approx 1.2 bar, and it runs great - noticably quicker than standard car. Fuel cut comes in about 18.6psi, 1.3 bar
I have been running it for months and no problems, get one!

Get one, they really do allow you to make the car a fair bit faster. Provided your using optimax/sul you can turn it right the way up to near the fuel cut without a worry in the world of det or running lean.
I've currently got a TEC3 ECU but am using a dawes to control the boost. Currently set at about 1.25 bar but I noticed she was creeping up a little this morning when I gave the car a roasting. This suggests the turbo was stuggeling in its current set up - probably had something to do with the decat centre I fitted yesterday Would turn it down but the downpipe goes on soon which will get rid of those hot gases quicker
