i remember reading this before...

Should it be on the hole just below the 'L' if its been left sitting for over a day or more?

Or should i put more oil in?

pretty sure it should be on the highest hole when cold, as more oil in sump drained from engine.

oh - ive lost a bit in the 3k miles since the service then - not good...

do you know how much oil it takes to go from the min to the max holes?

I take it the oil doesnt expand or anything with heat... its Motul 15/50 300 comp oil..

Oil level will increase with thermal expansion when hot,when cold to the "f" mark and when hot it may rise to the top notch

I keep reading on here to fill the oil to halfway between the two or you could end up with an oily boost solonoid valve and pipes??

Set me straight about this one as its a little confusing
