I have a my97 STI v3. I think i am running low on transmission oil. Could someone please tell me where the dipstick is(i think i found it under the intercooler next to the turbo but just want to check.), the the bolt to bleed the remaining fluid out is and where i should stick the new fluid into? I am a little paranoid at the moment about killing my gearbox.

Thanks

Jon,

You've found the dipstick! the drain plug is on the other side of the gear box towards the bottom (it is on my own my98 uk) you'll need a drain plug key of the right size and you fill it up again through the dipstick hole with a funnel and a piece a tubing.

If you've got a owners manual it should show a diagram with the position of the drain plug.

Good luck

Pete
