I have just fitted a bailey dump valve to my 95 wrx replacing the original recirculating type, all seems to work fine except, now my cars revs drop to between 500 and 200 when i ease off the accelerator and when I stop at lights etc. it sometimes stalls completely, other thing is sometimes it makes a hissing noise when I am accelerating.

Any Ideas???

Youve probably bought the wrong one,you need Dv26"evo" for a scooby not the Dv24.

Btw been running a "evo" on mine for 6 months with no probs.

Dont accept poor idling!!!!
Means valve is not closing, means wrong valve/internals need cleaning or **** product IMHO of course
As stated, you most likely have been supplied with the wrong valve, our cars need one that shuts on idle unlike R5 turbo's (for example) that stay open on idle..
