fitting a magnex decat, will it pass MOT?

just got a ss backbox and while im fitting it might as well get a magnex decat pipe, can any1 tell me if it'll still pass mot ok, and if so, wot sort of gains can i expect when i fit the 2 in conjunction with an ITG filter???

Yes it should pass with one cat in. But you wont really know until its tested 
Anyway you would be better off getting a scoobysport D/P and keeping the centre cat in. More gain this way, and should still pass MOT. Removing centre cat doesnt release much apparently.
Your proposed setup would probably release 10-15bhp at a guess.
