This morning my " Check Engine Light" came on and the fans kicked in straight away. The car was a pig to start but after a few coughes and splutters it fired and ran like a bag of ****e till it warmed up a bit. Seems fine when warm.

I'm thinking it could be the temp sensor making the ecu think the car is hot when its cold. does this sound right??

Also whereabouts would this sensor be located and will the car be safe to drive without it for a couple of days???

Cheers

Mark

sounds like the coolant temp sensor...!

Dont know where it is though... when you find it (someone will tell you) make sure the connection is clean, give it a rub with some wet n dry sand paper, only very lightly though... see if this makes any difference...
