Christian

Was your inlet pipe the Samco one that collapsed on boost?

I understand that they modified the ends?

Are you going for the Sti inlet pipe?

Cool

Steve,

I believe that the good Mr Rawle could answer your above questions. IIRC, he mapped christians car, and may have found the problem in the first place.

I couldnt remember if Christian had the Samco replacement pipe - I know that Bob went for the sti pipe - which I suppose answers the question itself

Just thought that Samco had effectively tried to copy the sti version?

There is a SAMCO black inlet pipe, which is used on Group N rally cars, but doesn't have any of the air inputs (BOV recirc pipe, solenoid, etc.), which is stronger than the regular blue/red I have seen.

Hi steve,

yes I was using the samco turbo inlet pipe. No doubt for standard cars it would be fine, but it is too restrictive and not strong enough for my beast
