Does your clutch judder when pulling away?

When pulling away (more when the car is cold)i find if you dont put more revs than most cars, you end up bouncing up the road.
Why is this, is my clutch on its way out or are they all like this?

Having already made the dealer replace my clutch about a year ago I phoned up again this morning asking for it to be replaced again as the juddering is on the point of dangerous if I was pulling out of a junction.
They phoned head office who told them there is a new cluth assembly being developed which should be ready in october and they would fit this under warrenty. Anyone else had this story or know anymore about it??

try your dealer now for modified parts,they have some in now, but only for wrx, nothing for earlier models, had mine sorted, very slick now.
My MY02 WRX judders like a cold-turkeying smack-head when it's cold sometimes, so I'd be interested if there was a solution to it. Particularly one that's covered by the warranty

It is because the clamping pressure is crap - even on Stis.
When I took my clutch off there was high points created by judder - and once they appear they only get worse. And only two thirds of the flywheel was seeing contact. If this happens you need to get the flywheel skimmed to be completely flat again.
An AP has been much better but not perfect. There are clutches available for the Scoob with very high clamping pressures that are easy to use.

Confirmed brand new WRX MY01/02 shudder out of the box . STi 7 is delicious in comparison . Saw a post by Simon from Prodrive suggesting WRX owners fit STi 7 clutches . But encouraging to know Subaru have adressed problem , will be cheaper ..., my brother will be happy .

My UK WRX judders when cold.
The story you will get when queried is;
"They all do that sir, it's a performance clutch that doesn't become "true" until the car is warmed up"
The service manager at my dealer, whenever replacing a clutch under warranty, used to order three and match up the clutch, flywheel and pressure plate to find the best fits.
Now, Subaru send out complete kits where the components all fit up nicely, supposedly eliminating judder.
My WRX is going in next week for a replacement under warranty so hopefully I won't look like a learner driver pulling out of junctions when the car's cold
