I am geting a HKS Hyper through the post this week.

Has someone give me a step by step in changing my exhaust. Currently I have a Prodrive BB and std D/P.

Or should I take it to Kwik fit, etc to have it fitted?

Any help apprciated.

Central Tyres are happy to change it over for me as I know the manager.

I want to fit on my own and gain a bit of experience.

Pretty simple - stick the whole car on jacks, take off the mid & back (back first) using plenty of fairy liquid/vaseline to get the "$%&£%^*%^£" rubber things off. Back held on by 3 bits of rubber & the mid, mid held on by one bit of rubber & the dp.
I think remove the 'o'-ring from the DP (? - the different fitting mechanism for the Hiper I don't think needs it ) & stick the mid on, then the back.
Fairly straight forward - you might want some exhaust sealant goo for the dp/mid connection - not sure how the Hiper fits, gasket-wise.

You'd need a couple of larg-ish 12 and 14 mm spanners, and some form of lubricant for the rubber hangers.

It's an easy and fun DIY.

done mine last week, the downpipe is a pain. Got my mid section later so couldn't wait to put the other parts on, otherwise putting the exhaust together off the car may be easier. There are two bolts to the backbox and a rubber bit holding it, another two on the other side of the centre section to the downpipe. on the centre section there is another bolt to be taken off, the downpipe is a a$$. figure it out urself!

*lol*

I've got a few major PITA DIY's as well.

Replacing the clutch.
Replacing suspension bushes.
Replacing the left hand side engine mount.

...and...(drumroll)...the oil return hose on the turbo, the lower clip on that SOB.

/J - who likes to get dirty with the scoob.
