Tooting Whistle on High Boost

When my hks ss dv kicks in at high levels of boost instead of getting the normal chatter. I get a very short toot whistle like noise then the normal chatter. This only happens on WOT in 3rd or 4th. Is this normal ? Is it the DV ?

No dump valve of any description should be making noise at WOT, if it is then it is leaking and bleeding away boost. If, however the noise is on lift off after WOT then its OK. You may not like/want the noise, but its working correctly
