Carried out ecu test and i found the following 4 long flashes and 4 short flashes so take it that is code 44 does any one know what that is or has a listof fault codes

thanks guys are the codes the same for a uk spec my99. If they do at last i can slove this on going problem. How much is a new solenoid from subaru or shall i go for a dawes device?

If i was to replace the faulty boost solenoid with a dawes device
and leave the oe boost soleniod wired in and done a ecu reset, would it cause any running problems if the fault code shows up again. would the ecu try and go in to limp home mode while im still running 16psi of boost at WOT. Or is there some way of removeing the solenoid and tricking the ecu in thinking every thing is ok may be with a resistor. Any help would be good before i buy one or the other.
