P1 stalling at junctions , check engine light on

Hi can anybody help me , took my p1 out today after about two miles it stalled and it stalls on junctions or when parked , and the check engine light is on , on the dash I have just read p1doc post about d/p , i have a s/s down pipe and p1 b/b fitted if that helps thank RBC

Thanks everyone going to subaru dealer , i have been using a
ITG panel filter shoud i go back to a paper one

I wouldn't worry - MAFs just go wrong. Or at least the old ones did - the new ones are meant to be much sturdier.

dont let them sell you the full unit you just need the maf sensor and not the housing as well. that is if they wont replace it under warranty.

You shouldn't have any problems with the ITG panel filter AFAIK

Hey there, i'm wally from Belgium and had the same problem with my MY2000 old shape turbo, with an HKS mushroom I destroyed 2 MAF senors so now I'm back to the paper one,

Thanks again to everyone it was the MAF done under waranty i will
put the ITG back in RBC
