Should you stick to one manufacturer for exhaust components. I am looking to change my MY01 zaust to a full decat. I already have a SS backbox, but was considering a scoobysport downpipe and centre with a GGR up pipe. Should I keep to one manufacturer or is this combo OK?
Comments please!

Worth checking beforehand as not all parts will "mix and match" - although a lot will....
I have a MRT downpipe with a high-flow cat, MRT centre with silencer and a Remus backbox FWIW.
Thanks

As the uppipe doesn't connect (directly) to the downpipe what you are suggesting is OK. However, I'd suggest that you check out the fitting of any uppipe that you buy, in terms of angles, studs (or bolts), quality of flanges (warped or not), material spec etc. etc.
I'm running a Scoobysport de-cat from the turbo back, and another manufacturers uppipe. On the uppipe I'm on my third set of gaskets and second uppipe due to fitting issues. Given the time it takes to fit I'd suggest you spend a little more and get a good one. It might be worth checking out D T-Ss and my threads, and the debate of the merits of flexible joints.

PS You changing your car to be like mine this time?
