Tonight i was Acceleration off a slip road onto a motorway when my car just died and then fired back into life, This also happended a few days ago while chasing a porche , car died then back to life, also i find the car feel a bit lumpy sumtimes. Also occasionally after car has been stood some time (overnight) Blue Smoke when i start her up. I really dunno what it is as some days they car just performs like a rocket?

Sounds like fuel cut overboost, do you have a boost gauge?

If you can test it in 4th and 5th under full load and watch the gauge...you will then 'see' what its doing.

yes i have a blitz boot gauge

car seems to run at 2nd 8-9 psi 3rd & 4th over 1 bar sumtimes 12,my cars only mod it a piper cross induction

 

If this happens only at less than half a tank of fuel then it is probably fuel surge.Can happen when pulling lots of acceleration in a straight line or particularly on long fast right handers as on motorway flyovers.

 

hmm yes i think u r right there both time i was running under a half tank, weird huh. still the blue smoke bothers me
