driving with a smoking turbo, will it do any harm??

as above, been told its the turbo gone, will it do any harm driving it while the turbo is smoking??

if you have a cat fitted it will have already done damage,burning oil hits the cat and blocks the fine honeycomb.

if you have full de-cat then you have nothing to worry about.

What about the fact that it will be pumping the eng oil out of the exhaust??
