Ok...so under hard driving conditions my chargecooler (legacy turbo) is actually WARMING my charge?

Ideas please anyone?

Larger Water-Air radiator?
Different coolant?
Bigger headertank?
FMIC?

Not going to be a real problem until I chip the car....THEN it becomes an issue.

Opinions welcome from one and all

Larger intercooler Rad. Available from MRT. i want one to.. as well as my mate Kam. When i spoke to MRT in OZ they said it was an exechange item only, and at a cost of about £150.. They now have a UK agent in Town end garage, maybe give them a call ?

I'm not sure about the Legacy set-up at all, but at a guess you just don't have the chance on the road to really have problems - you'd spend too much time off-boost. However, having no practical experience of this set-up, I think I'll go away now

Hmm...have not tried a track day, but I like the sound of a nice big charge coooler radiator.....any other legacy owners interested?

Or should we all be putting imprezza intercoolers on (seeing as they will just drop right in and weigh less...but do they cool as well)

I am gonna hit Maplins tomorrow and build myself a multi-thermometer. Will monitor air temp at intake, turbo, post charge-cooler and probably post my findings in a coupla days. If I can get the darn thing working again (am having some overboost issues)
