Another Dump Vave question
#1
There is a recirculating dump valve for sale here on Scoobynet.
I am looking for a VTA dump vave. Does anyone know if you can just leave off the hose (Plugging the end) and let the valve just vent off to atmos. Or are the recirc and VTA dump vaves inherently different.

I have read that you can do this, but I have never tried it.
I cannot see any reason why the dv should not function correctly with the recirc pipe absent.
Give it a go if its cheap enough
MD.
