2003 WRX gearbox and diff options
Hi
I need to replace the gearbox and rear diff on my standard UK spec 2003 (blobeye) WRX PPP and was looking for some advice.
I believe my current gearbox is TY754VN2AA. Could someone please confirm this? I found a PDF of the internet (via this site) however I couldn’t see my model so believe it is this after looking at a few posts.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a reconditioned or replacement box and diff?
Thanks

Thanks for the above, much appreciated.
I did a bit of research yesterday and will do a bit more but it seems I have 2 options. 1/ get a specialist gearbox firm to take the car away and fit the parts. 2/ buy the parts myself and get someone (Slowboy racing probably) to fit the parts for me.
For 1, I’ve had a quote of £1750, it would take a week and come with a 2 year warranty.
For 2, I’ve had quotes of £1040 and £520 for the gearbox only, the first with a 3 month warranty and the second with 1 month.
Does anyone have any recommendations i.e. does the above seems reasonable or can recommend someone they’ve used in the past? I’m in Kent, hence will probably use Slowboy racing to fit any parts if needed.
Thanks
