None DCCD vs DCCD (pro's con's)

Hello my names Arron, I could do with some help regarding a purchase my misses Jessica, is after her long time favourite car (subaru sti 8)
I've seen an 04 STI for sale but it doesn't have the DCCD box still has the six speed but just non dccd.
she's is looking todo a build on the car and full paint job so basically i wanan make sure were buying the right one spending good Money.
dose the non dccd make a big difference what are the pros & cons thanks

I'd say have a search on here, I remember there's been some discussions on this. I've had a non dccd classic and now a dccd blobeye sti. If you're really going drive it to it's limits maybe doing trackdays it's good to have.
But the classic would powerslide and do donuts nicely without it.
So it really depends if you think it's worth spending more. Another thing the later dccd cars will have the rear arch extensions and updated interior which is nice. They also might hold value better if you're looking at a restoration.
