Default When replacing gearbox, what else should I change?

Hi all,

I own a 2006 2.5 wrx and I have had an issue with 3rd suddenly sounding like a bag of nails. I will be replacing my gearbox with another used box, but as it is such a big job, what else should I sort out while the gearbox is out and what parts will I need?

I know I will need about 5ltrs of gear oil as may as well swap out the oil in the diff, also I will be fitting a new clutch kit.

So what else do I need? Are there seals that need replacing, and other bearings or parts or any other jobs that should be done while you have the access?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Ian

Spigot bearing if it does not come with your clutch kit.
