Grinding 5th

A month into having my 5 Type R now and was just wondering if the 4th - 5th crunching was a common problem on the STI.
Going down the box from 5th to 4th is not too much of a prob if you get the revs right, but going up is near on impossible to avoid crunching!!!!!!!!!!!!
