Default Banging Diff 5 Speed DCCD

Had my type r put back together after a refurb underneath and my rear diff is now banging/clonking sometimes in reverse/moving forward initially and when turning tight.

Its almost like its stuck in locked mode. The controller moves the lights on the dash.

Rear Diff also just had fresh millers 75w 90 lsd oil.

Gearbox had a cheaper 75w 90,which was replaced with millers 75w 90.

It was fine before being fully stripped, it was last driven almost a year ago when it was fine.

I've read online to go up the road and pull on the handbrake severly a couple of times and lock up the back wheels and this should free out the locked diff.

Nope, not touched at all.

Just wondering if its possible to adjuster wires were reversed. So that the green light is locked and vice versa. If that's even possible

Don't believe it it's plug and play as such not unless you cut the wires. Easy to check just wind it up instead of down.

Ok so i had a look at it this weekend.

No loose wires on the box or in the car

Noticed the driver side drive shaft was longer than the passenger side by roughly 20mm or so.

Swapped sides with the drive shafts which left no difference.

Are the drives usually longer one side or could it be a case i have one incorrect drive for the car

Swapped back to the longer one on the driver side.

Also the C-Clips from the end of drives are missing, nor was there a snap when putting them in, so im not sure if they were in the diff, I didn't check at the time as it hadn't crossed my mind.

Also wondering now if there was an additive put into the old oil before disassembly
