Default Dccd on full lock........skipping

I know that when reversing on full lock the car skips around a little so I knock it into manual and green light on the bottom, well today as I was pulling out of a really tight parking space going forward on full lock in auto I felt the same type of skip/twitch......should it happen when going forward?

yeah can be a pain in the **** at times ,, I got into the habit of flicking it into manual soon as I got into the motor , the plus side was I could get it drifting in manual

not sure if it would do any damage to be honest but doesn't feel good when it happens
