Fuel Pumps
Hi,
I'm thinking of getting an uprated fuel pump and would like some advice really.
I spoke to Graham Goode and they can do a 'Sietek'? (spelling?) uprated pump that shifts 195ltr/hr for £130+VAT along with a 'filter-king' regulator/filter for £45+VAT.
Do those bits sound ok as far as this stuffs concerned?
Also - is it a big job to change the fuel pump and regulator/filter
etc?
ta,
Matt

I've got a pump from Mark, excellent service from him & really useful advice. Told me not to bother with a reg for the moment.
The initial pick-up has improved slightly & the pump makes a nice noise when the ignition is switched on.
Give your money to Mark you won't regret it.

They are just selling on a pump from Sytec, ( Walbro the same ? ) from Fuel System Enterprises/Glencoe

Dont bother emailing them about info, coz they never seem to reply. They do answer their phone though.

A question regarding fitting - how much fuel will I lose when I remove the fuel lines from the plate I need to remove from the tank?
Is the fuel still under pressure at this stage? Can I clamp the pipes OK?
Thanks, was going to fit it yesterday - but it was too hot for me to face the smell of petrol fumes
