Default Clutch for a standard 55 WRX

I have a standard wrx wagon on its original clutch and 181000 miles the peddle is very high and stiff so i need to change the clutch.

I have no intention to uprate the power and use it as a daily driver on motorways and london rush hour traffic so looking for a cost effective durable replacement.

Having been back through search i see Exedy had quality issues a year ago and CC stage 2 being recommended would this be the best bet for me and as i am getting a back street garage to do the change what do i need to give them apart from the clutch kit?

I use the car every day so dont want it off the road longer than neccessary so do i get a new fly wheel?

Thanks in advance for the advice

is it the last of the 2.0 cars or the first of the 2.5 as the clutch/flywheel is very different between the two

a std replacement factory "exedy" clutch will do everything you wish and you'll generally find the quality issue emanated from one particular 're-seller' that had issues - these were nothing to do with std spec kits anyhows
