Fast and practical 5dr hatchback/estate
MOT - 06/03/2017 (Only advisory was a stone chip to the windscreen outside of zone "A" which has been repaired)
TAX - Pre 2006 lower tax band, costing £290 per annum
Hpi - Clear with a new report this month
Service History - nearly full service history which is mainly Subaru. Will be going in for a service next week (Oil, filters, plugs etc) at an independent garage. Cambelt was replace by Subaru at 87,000 miles. Lots of receipts and all old MOT's. Both bipper keys present and working. Leather wallet and V5 present.
Tyres - nearly new Toyo Proxes, approximately 2 months old
Recent work carried out - refurbished front brake calipers (under warranty), new front discs and pads, new brake hoses, brake fluid change. New suspension (coilover) front and rear and new alloy wheels. The suspension was replaced with Meister-R fully adjustable coilovers which have 1 years warranty. Both alternator and air-con belts have been replaced and the rear silencer was replaced with a genuine Subaru Prodrive unit.
The wheels have been replaced with 17" Braid Winrace-A alloy wheels in black.
The front brakes were completely overhauled, stripped down, sand blasted, powder coated and fitted with stainless steel pistons and bleed nipples, then fitted with stainless steel brake lines, these like the suspension come with 1 years warranty.
Other than the wheels, suspension and silencer the car is completely standard specification.
Exterior - In excellent condition, a few marks as to be expected, but no rust or accident damage, stone chips to the front bumper which these cars are susceptible to.
Interior - excellent condition and fitted with tailored mats, one minor tear to the drivers seat base which will be repaired and hardly noticeable. The air conditioning blows ice cold. Fitted with ISOFIX as standard. Large estate type boot with a load liner.
Fitted with a Thatcham category 1 alarm & Immobiliser and a RAC Trackstar tracker.
Drive - Excellent, very reliable as a daily drive, excellent performance with no knocks or bangs etc. The engine pulls through all gears and the gearbox is smooth and precise.
The vehicle has just been professionally valeted inside and out. It has been protected with Autoglym high definition wax which will protect the paintwork for 6 months
Any test/inspection welcome.
The car is situated in Taunton, Somerset (5 minutes from Junction 25/26 of the M5)
