Default Automatic JDM WRX BUGEYE TCU HELP

Hello i am currently facing a issue with my subaru wrx 2001 bugeye.

it is a jdm spec with the automatic box i think it is 4eat.

i have searched for hours and hours to find an answer with no luck.
my transmission seems to have gone into a limp mode, i bought 4 different vag leads ones with ftdi chip and ones without to try to clear tcu with freessm but none of the lead can connect to the tcu.
i am able to connect to the ecu but no error codes.

the car is pretty much useless un driveable at the moment it wont rev past 2k and it wont reverse at all all gears wont pass 2k.

i am actually stuck at this moment in time no one local has a clue about this box is there any procedure to clear the tcu, i have left the battery out over night with fail did'nt do anything.

can someone guide me what should be my next step

Thank you in advance

looks like you,ll need that expensive drive to a decent subaru dealer- a few places about that could rebuild the box itself but the ecu is a different matter-the limp home mode may be related to a gbox problem any way-
