REMOVING PULLEY WHEEL
#1
i need to remove the small pulley wheel on the drivers side of the car in front of the power sterring reservoir.
It is approx 10 cm diameter and has four larger holes in it . The belt from the alternator runs to it.
it looks to be held on by a large nut , the reason for removal is that it is corroded badly and i want to repaint it
Is it just a case of removing the alternator belt , and then undoing the nut or is there more to its removal ?
thnaks

yep, should be straight forward, although they can stick a little, just give it a light tap if so and it should come off.

(p.s. that pulley and unit is actually the power steering pump)
