Question

Hi all

I guess this is an engine related questions and not a styling one... I want to remove the blanking plates on my MY94 and retain the original vents. Obviously doing this is going to let a load of rainwater into the engine. It would appear that it will wash over the battery on one side and the MAF/airbox on the other.

Anybody found a solution to this problem? I plan to contruct a system for routing the water away from these areas, but wanted to know what everyone else has done...

Cheers

Dont do it. Water is not the problem. See the thread in Tech Gen.
