what gearbox oil and how much?
Hi!
Im going to do a 6 speed conversion on my type r next weekend and im Wondering what kind of gearbox and diff oil i should have? And how much?
I have a 6 speed from a uk 06,

Okey, its about 4.5 L for both gearbox and diff? Should i go whit the LS version Or is just reglar 75w90 okey?

The best option for the diff is a synthetic 75w-90, like the Silkolene Syn 5, Millers CRX NT LS, Motul Gear 300LS, Red Line 75w-90 GL5 or Gulf Competition LS. A SAE90 or 80w-90 mineral oil such as Motul 90PA, Fuchs Race Gear 90LS or Gulf Gear LS 80w-90 is a good, cheaper alternative.
