Hi!
Im going to do a 6 speed conversion on my type r next weekend and im Wondering what kind of gearbox and diff oil i should have? And how much?

I have a 6 speed from a uk 06,

Its about 4.5 litres and i used motul 300 that i was very impressed with as the box used to be notchy but cured it

Rear diff i used motul 90pa oil and needed about 0.8l

Yep around 4.5 litres for both box and diff. You need the LS for the rear diff if you've got DCCD. For the box itself you need the regular non LS stuff.

dont put ls oil in the box its fine for the diff though

The best option for the diff is a synthetic 75w-90, like the Silkolene Syn 5, Millers CRX NT LS, Motul Gear 300LS, Red Line 75w-90 GL5 or Gulf Competition LS. A SAE90 or 80w-90 mineral oil such as Motul 90PA, Fuchs Race Gear 90LS or Gulf Gear LS 80w-90 is a good, cheaper alternative.
