Default UK Gearbox or an Import gearbox ?

So, i currently am replacing my old TY752 Import gearbox, now i wanted a 754VB1AA box but cant seem to find one, yet there are quite a few UK MY99 gearbox which are TY754VN1AA, i know id need the rear diff to match so thats not a problem but what is the difference driving wise between the uk and import gear ratios, noticeable or wouldnt it matter ?

cheers but ive seen that etc, ratio numbers to me doesnt compute to road driving so dont know the difference between the uk/i,port ratios

basically my choices are

Refit an original spec box, the weaker TY752 import box

Or fit a UK TY754 stronger box and matching diff but not sure if this box will make my WRX slower/weird to drive ? guessing the UK cars are ok but not sure if import box gives longer gear time etc etc ????

ideally id like the stronger import TY754 which is the same ratios as the TY752 but cant find one

I was thinking of getting a UK box/diff for my import as I do a fair bit of motorways and the lower ratios mean I have to be revving the **** off it most of the time, people in UK cars do the same speeds at much lower revs.

Ah rite ok, so the lower ratios mean lower revs at the same speed compared to an import, would that make the car more sluggish as it will be lower revs when you boot it etc or is it just like a few hundred rpm difference ?

just trying to gauge what the difference will be if i do fit a uk box to the import

cheers
