Just as it says, where can I get the best deal on 5L (4+1?) of Mobil 1 15/50
Or will the non synthetic 15/50 oil I use in my Rover (for older or high mileage cars..) perform the same? Something tells me not.

When I last went to Halfords some spotty boy in a nylon shirt with lots of brylcreem (or chip fat in his hair) told me that Mobil did not do 1 Motorsport 15/50 anymore and Halfords could not get any!

Organise a booze cruise and go and get it from a French Hypermarket - much much cheaper than you get it over here and you can get the correct viscosity rating (5W 40 I think) that is only officially available to Subaru dealers in the UK.

.....but 4/40 is too thin if you drive hard/go on track.
15/50 is much better. Or better still get some Motul or AMSoil - Motul is especially good - I have 30l in my garage!
