Lightweight flywheel
Ive got to take the engine out of my bugeye wrx this week due to fitting some new parts, ive got a Exedy pink box clutch on at the moment, but what I may as well do while the engine is out is fit a lightweight flywheel, does anyone recommend one and is it worth the money?

Fitting a lightweight flywheel reduces rotational mass, improves throttle response and acceleration. If I could speak to every customer about just how good these are then each and every customer would go for one.
Personally it was one of the single best modifications I did to my Impreza, really made the car sharper and nicer to drive.

I think the bite point is laible to change on any clutch work, mine did, slightly, but not in a bad way. I have an 05 wrx, picked it up a couple of months ago and noticed the clutch was high, the other day I made it a lot worse after a hard launch to avoid an accident.
I know the clutch will need doing soon (not slipping yet) but wandering about the lightened fly wheel, the only experience I have was in my mates 350z, throttle response was amazing after but it knocked its **** off, are scoobys with lightened flywheels known for this also or is it a crappy Nissan thing?

Good to know, is it a good mod to do on a daily driver? My wrx won't be hitting the track or anything but will do stage 1 at some point but don't want to ruin it for daily commute etc

Sorry to thread hijack, but what clutch would you recommend for a newage WRX wagon with PPP? I'm planning to (eventually) do "stage 2" mods/remap and look for around 320bhp, but mostly just a daily driver. No real track/drag use.
