Question

The above fault code has shown up, and I was wondering if there is anything I can do about it?? I know its the oxygen sensor, but can it be cleaned? Where is it?, or will I just have to get it replaced when its in for a service??

Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

You don't mention which model/year you have, but on a MY99 it's in the Downpipe. In theory it could probably be cleaned, but mine's failed and it's getting replacedby the Dealer. They didn't seem bothered about trying to fix it.

Thumbs up

Sorry. Its a MY00 P1. That would figure, as I recently de-catted it with a ss downpipe, and I thought this may have been the case! As its relatively easy to get to I'll give it a clean up anyway, although the check engine light hasn't come on for ages now!!

Thanx again!
