First time scooby buyer

Hi everyone!
I have at last hit the time in my life when its actually possible for me to get insured on a scooby without being completely raped by the insurer! Lol!
Just wondered if any of you guys and girls had any tips on what to look out for when buying a used scooby?
By the way, the dealer I'm thinking of using is the one in sutton coldfield (west mids), dont know the exact name of it though, sorry.

What model year are you thinking of buying?. Uk or import?. Different years and models have different things to look out for.
It might be an idea to read the Drive Train forum for a few weeks before buying one, you'll soon see the problems people have, mainly due to mods.
