ive recently had the bumpsteer mod and geometry set on my p1, well worth it , car now brakes in a straight line, doesnt understeer so much, turns in like an evo, tracks straight on the motorway, my camber was out on three wheels, badly !

Thumbs up

I've had the bumpsteer, geometry, ALK and solid links done and together they have transformed the car. If you are considering any or all of the above it's possibly best to get them all done at once as you have to have the geometry redone after adding links etc and it would save you cost of an extra 4 wheel alignment.
Only snag with doing that is that you can't then see what effects, if any, individual parts have. Ho hum.....

is it worth it? does a bear poo in the woods? Yes, do it, do it, do it.

had bumpsteer, full alignment and anti-lift fitted to the blackbeast and it totally transformed the handling of the car. do it, you won't regret it.

Want to get ALK and Bumpstear done soon.
Can anyone let me know roughly how much this stuff costs at Powerstation. Or perhaps give me the link to their web site.

Thanks
Steve

Talking

Bumpsteer & alignment is £117 all in
ALK was about £130 plus a bit for fitting - can't remember exactly.

Cool

Hmmm....bumpsteer/geometry was done summer last year when it was £100 plus vat. Eibachs, links, ALK and redo geometry was done about 2 months ago. Price for ALK sounds about right - perhaps not quite so much....
Maybe they're jacking up their prices as the bumpsteer becomes ever more popular It is certainly worth it, even at the prices you've got.
